Helen Flanagan
Helen Flanagan, born 7 August 1990 is an English actor from England. She is most famous for her role as Rosie Webster in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street from 2000 to 2012. She returned to the role in 2017 before going on leave for maternity on the 8th of June 2018.Flanagan was born in Bury, Greater Manchester, England. She was a student at Westholme School in Blackburn, Lancashire.Flanagan first appeared as Rosie Webster in Coronation Street in January 2000. In 2006 she was nominated to win the prize of "Best Dramatic Performance from a Young Actor or Actress" at the British Soap Awards, losing to Ellis Hollins of Hollyoaks. In 2007 for "Villain of the year" at the same awards. This time she lost to Jack P. Shepherd, her Coronation Street costar. Flanagan was the lead character in Rosie Webster in Coronation Street: A Knights Tale in the year 2010. Just Rosie was her Coronation Street spinoff. It included her character Rosie Webster, who is trying to make a career as a model in London. Flanagan quit Coronation Street in February 2012 to pursue her different pursuits. In November 2012 Flanagan was seventh in the twelveth series I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! In September 2013 she appeared on Celebrity Super Spa, a reality-television show that was filmed on the Liverpool Salon on Channel 5. Flanagan was a guest with Hugo Taylor in an episode on Celebrity Wedding Planner, January 2014. The following August she appeared as a nurse from the agency Kirsty Brompton on the episode Holby City. Flanagan was set to reprise her role on Coronation Street as Rosie in February 2017. She went on leave of absence for maternity in June.
