Canadian actress Emily Bett Rickards was born on July 24 in 1991. Her first TV role was her character Felicity Swoak on The CW's Arrow. She has also reprised the role in the Arrowverse series The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl and voiced the character in the animated web show Vixen.Rickards was born and was raised in British Columbia. She is the daughter of Dr. Diane Greig in Vancouver Psychotherapist, who she hopes to become. At a young age, she began to explore the world of musical theatre and dance with the hope of taking on more serious acting. After high school graduation, she attended Vancouver Film School and completed the Acting Essentials program. She attended an audition for an agent once she had completed the course. She was a student at the Alida Vocal Studio, Vancouver. Rickards was her first appearance on stage, appearing in the Nickelback track "Never Gonna Be Alone" video in 2009.
