Emily Bett Rickards

 Emily Bett Rickards (born July 24, 1991)is a Canadian actress. She is well-known for her performance as Felicity Smoak in The CW series Arrow, her first television credit. She also reprised her role in the Arrowverse series The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl and also voiced the character on the animated web-based series Vixen.Rickards was born and raised in British Columbia. Her mother is Dr. Diane Greig, a dream psychotherapist from Vancouver.Beginning in her professional career from a young age she was introduced to dance and musical theatre with the intention of taking on more serious acting. She graduated from high school before her peers and attended the Vancouver Film School, completing the Acting Essentials Program. She auditioned for an agent following the time she finished the program. She also studied at the Alida Vocal Studio in Vancouver. Rickards was her first professional appearance performing in the Nickelback track "Never Gonna Be Alone" video in 2009.
