Alice Glass

 Margaret Osborn, born 23 August 1988, is a Canadian singer/songwriter. She was the co-founder of Crystal Castles, and the former frontwoman of the group. In 2014, she launched her own solo career. Her eponymous debut EP was released in 2017. The album she released as her solo debut Prey//IV came out in February 2022.Alice Glass was born Margaret Osborn on 25 August 1988 in Toronto, Ontario. She was raised Catholic and attended a parochial school up until junior high. She fled her home at 15 to start an underground punk band called Fetus Fatale, and lived in a squat with other punks. Ethan Kath and she began working together on the project that would be Crystal Castles. In December 2003, Alice Glass fled her home and took refuge in a squat neighborhood of punks whose name was Vicki Vale (after the comic book character). She also formed an all-girl punk group called Fetus Ftale. The band's first single release was "Alice Practice" the single from 2006. The track earned them their first contract with Merok Records in London. The same year, Crystal Castles played their first concert live at the Clinton's Tavern in Toronto. Their debut album, "Alice Practice", eventually featured the track.
