Alice Gainer, born July 3 1982 She is an American reporter and anchor for WCBS-TV in New York. Gainer has previously worked for WNYW Fox 5 New York as well as for eight years prior to that was an anchor/reporter for News 12 New Jersey. She has also been on News 12 Westchester, CNN, Fox News Channel and Fox Business Happy HourGainer graduated from Fordham University in 2004 with a degree in Communication including Radio and TV, as well as an additional minor in Business Administration.At Fordham she was an anchor for WFUV the university's NPR affiliated radio station and also won an award called the Gracie Award in the category "Individual Achievement for Best Anchor (Radio)". She also worked as an anchor on campus' television station. Gainer attended NPR and was anchor for the television station on campus. station. Gainer has won eight NY Emmy Awards, including "Breaking/Spot News" as well as "Crime News", as well as "Entertainment News", among others.
