American actress and singer Aleksa Palladino was born between 1980 and 1981. She is probably most famous for her roles in Manny & Lo and The Adventures of Sebastian Cole. She also played a main part in the second season of the AMC period drama Halt and Catch Fire. She was also a part of the Exitmusic dreampop duo with her ex-husband Devon Church. They released the albums The Decline of the West (2006), Passage (2012) and The Recognitions (2018). She is the daughter of Sabrina. Palladino, a filmmaker singer, photographer and soprano. She is also the grandchild of Angela Fodale Palladino who was who was a Sicilian painter, sculptor as well as Anthony Americo Palladino, an American-born illustrator and designer from Italy. Palladino designed the lettering in Robert Bloch's novel Psycho. Tony is honored in an episode of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel which Amy Sherman-Palladino wrote. The aunt of Palladino's, Kate Palladino-Kirk is a designer, her great-great-uncle Rocco Fodale was a painter from Trapani and her great-uncle Tonino Fodale worked as a Retoucher for some of the most famous fashion photographers, such as Richard Avedon and Peter Lindbergh. The ancestral roots of Palladino are in Naples as well as Sicily.
