Aislinn derbez was born in Mexico City and raised by Eugenio Derbez. Her parents are Gabriela Michel, an artist, and Eugenio Derbez. They are regarded as one of the most famous and well-known comedians and actors in Mexico. She is the daughter of the legendary Mexican actress Silvia Derbez. Aislinn is of Mexican descent , inherited from her maternal grandma and paternal grandfather and French from her paternal grandmother and maternal grandfather.Aislinn resided in New York City for four years (2006-2009) as she pursued studies in theatre, visual arts, photography, and writing and earned her Bachelor of Visual Arts at NYC's School of Visual Arts. At the age of 15, she began modeling and in 2009 she started her acting career within the Mexican film industry, participating in numerous films and television series across Mexico, South America, and Europe. In the seven years between 2010 and 2017, she has been in 15 feature films, as well in a variety of TV shows. The film she appeared in, "A La Mala", was a box office huge success, and she's an extremely popular Mexican actress. She relocated to Los Angeles in 2016 and participated in independent films, as well as shows like "Win it All" in which she appeared alongside Jake Johnson. The series was directed by Joe Swanberg. Derbez and her husband Mauricio founded "A Toda Madre Entertainment", a production company in California. They produce content in Mexico as well as the Americas.
