Aisling Franciosi, (/'aeSlING foUzi/ ASHling fran-CHOH'zee; Italian: ['eSliNGg:zi]) is an Irish actress. She was born on June 6 on the 6th of June, 1993. In her role in The Nightingale (2018), she won an AACTA Award. Her name is well-known for her appearances on television in The Fall, RTE-BBC Two's crime drama (2013-2016) season 2 TNT series Legends (2015) and Black Narcissus (2020). Franciosi was born in Dublin, Ireland. Her father is Italian and her mother is Irish. She has two older brothers and one younger sister. She is trilingual, fluent in English, Italian and Irish.
