Aisling Franciosi

 Aisling Franciosi, (/'aeSlING foUzi/ ASHling fran-CHOH'zee; Italian: ['eSliNGg:zi]) is an Irish actress. She was born on June 6, 1993. She was awarded an AACTA Award for her leading performance in the film The Nightingale (2018). Her name is well-known for her roles on television in The Fall, RTE-BBC Two's crime drama (2013-2016) season 2 TNT series Legends (2015) and Black Narcissus (2020). Franciosi was born in Dublin, Ireland. Her father is Italian and her mother is Irish. She has two older brothers as well as one younger sister. She is trilingual, fluent in English, Italian and Irish. In Trinity College Dublin, she learned Spanish and French. [3She was a part of the Trinity College Dublin. Franciosi was Katie Benedetto on the RTE-Broadcast The Fall, a crime-drama series with two seasons. The Fall from 2013 to 2016. The actress made her debut on film in 2014 on Jimmy's Hall. In 2015, she starred as Kate Crawford in the second TNT series Legends. In 2016 Franciosi reprised her role as Lyanna Stark in Game of Thrones' sixth season. Jennifer Kent directed The Nightingale in 2018, which was a period drama that was set in Tasmania. Also known as The Nightingale, Francioisi received critical acclaim and a number of accolades such as an AACTA. She also had supporting and recurring roles seasons 1 and 2 of the BBC thriller Clique as Georgia Cunningham and the Picasso installment of the National Geographic television anthology Genius as Fernande Olivier.
