Sometimes, you'll hear the voice that tells you to follow the instructions. Sometimes, the voice is a roar of your mouth. Her talents in singing have already brought her from Oklahoma to national exposure as a contestant on The Voice's top talent contest. And now Adley Stump's voice is fully blooming on her debut EP called, Like an Lady.For the girl in the middle of all the drama, none of this was part of the plan. Stump was busy getting her diploma in public relations from Oklahoma State University when friends encouraged her to audition to sing in a sorority production. She had been a cheerleader and dancer since childhood but never thought she might be able to sing. "We all just laughed when they dared," she recalls with a laugh. "But I'll accept a challenge from anyone. So I started singing, and I think people were shocked by what was revealed. "I was awed by the results." It was the result of a voice as pure and authentic as it was rich and beautiful. She sang the solo. But most importantly, she discovered the direction. She claims that she experienced the first moment of vulnerability and awe.
