Abigail Daniella Phillip(born November 25 1988) is an American journalist, who is an anchor and political reporter anchor for CNN. She previously worked for The Washington Post, ABC News and Politico. Phillip, who was born November 25, 1988 was Afro-Trinidadian. Phillip was born to June Phillip (now a realtor) and Carlos Phillip (a teacher and later an educator). Phillip has five siblings.When she was a kid the family moved briefly back to Trinidad and Tobago and returned to the U.S. when she was nine years old. Phillip was born in Bowie, Maryland and graduated from Harvard University in 2010 with the degree of Bachelor of Arts in the field of Government. Her initial goal was to pursue a premed degree. Phillip was an Harvard Crimson writer.
