 Aarti Lucica Sequeira (born 19 August 1978) is an Indian American cook and television celebrity, most famously the winner of the sixth season of Food Network's reality television show The Next Food Network Star.In 2010, following her win, her show Aarti Party debuted on the network. Aarti Party was her first television show. Then she hosted Taste in Translation, a Cooking Channel program that showcases the most delicious food from around the world. She had previously worked as an CNN news producer, and in 2008, she launched the online cooking variety show Aarti Paarti.Aarti Lucica Sequeira was born in Mumbai on the 19th of August 1978. Her family came from Mangalore located in Karnataka.She was the youngest of two sisters and was raised in an tradition-based Indian Catholic home.When she was still an infant, her family moved to Dubai in search of a job for her father. Sequeira was born in that area.
