 The residence was designed with the idea of providing modern and contemporary homes to the customer with the spirit of Indian art and craftsmanship. This residence, which is 4000 square feet in the upscale neighborhood of Vasant vihar, is a celebration both of design and art. The client's requirements were considered in the design of this three bedroom home with multiple breakout spaces and bars. The exotic burl veneer is utilized along with distressed wood finish and antique mirrors, as well as handcrafted furniture to create a visually beautiful space. This is an aesthetic which is evident in the 17200 sft. The residence covers a large space. The space also served as a reflection of its home owners which came through in the juxtaposition of Indian art and contemporary furniture and environment and a color palette that drew inspiration from our history. We were given the task of restoring a 40-year-old residence that belonged to the Bhaskars of Ishwar nagar. The structure that was originally built was preserved. The problem was finding an approach to the chaos of the current structure. It was not an accident that everything came together by a careful plan. The modern look and feel designed by us was complemented by the art and the heirloom artifacts passed through generations.
