The Oxygen's Snapped current episode, airing on October 30, 2022, explores the murder case of Sherra WrightRobinson, as well as her husband Lorenzen Wright. Wright was visiting his ex-wife Sherra Wright-Robinson and their children when he was fatally wounded in Memphis, Tennessee. While the incident was well-publicized, authorities took time to identify the culprit. She was questioned after the body was found, but was initially dismissed as not being suspect. Following more investigation, authorities eventually tracked the weapon of murder to Billy Ray Turner and subsequently to Sherra Wright-Robinson, who was believed to have killed the NBA star due to greed and personal benefits.She was able to agree to a plea deal after getting detained and sentenced to 30 years of prison. Sherra Wright-Robinson, who is currently in jail in the Tennessee Prison for Women, where she'll remain until at the very least 2026.
