Rebbie Jackson

 Rebbie Jackson is an American singer, is the eldest member of the Jackson family of musicians. Michael Jackson was also an ancestor of the Jackson family. Born and raised in Gary, Indiana, she followed the path of religion early in her life following the example of her mother. Rebbie began her music career in Las Vegas in 70s, when she began performing with her siblings on stage for the first time. When they achieved popularity in the 70s, the Jacksons signed a contract with 'CBS Records. They also appeared on the TV variety series "The Jacksons. After attaining popularity, she wanted a solo musical career, and she released her first album, 'Centipede' in 1984. The album was not a huge success, as were the next two which included "Reaction" (and "R U Tuff Enuff'). She took a 10 year break before releasing her album 'Yours Faithfully' in 1998. The brothers of Michael Jackson's record company , MJJ Music' distributed the album. In June 2009, Michael Jackson died. In the funeral service, the siblings honored Michael by performing his songs Heal the World' & "We Are the World.
