Lil Durk

 Lil Durk, one of Chicago's most promising American Rappers is Lil Durk. He was born Durk Banks. He later took his stage name Lil Durk. The first time he became interested in music, it started at an early age. He self-released his first mix tapes through his OTF (Only the Family). He started considering the possibility of pursuing music as a full-time career after his first success. He signed with the record label 'Def Jam Recordings' and is now being rated by critics as the most successful rapper to be associated with the most prestigious record label. His family was negatively affected by the rough neighborhood in which he was raised. The father of his son was sentenced to life in prison in 1994 for drug-related charges. He also faced financial hardships as a child. The violence on the streets of Chicago was a factor in the early release of many of his songs.
