Natasha Raskin Sharp, born 15 June 1986 is a Scottish TV presenter as well as an expert on art and antiques. She is most well-known for her appearances on television. She is the daughter of the contemporary Scottish artist Philip Raskin she has appeared in programmes in the UK and the US including Antiques Road Trip, Celebrity Antiques Road Trip, Flog It!, Bargain Hunt, For What It's Worth and Baggage Battles. She was the middle of three kids born to an extended family of collectors and art enthusiasts in Glasgow in the year 1986. [3] Her father is the artist Philip Raskin, and her grandfather was a former TV magician Max Raskin. At first, she was studying law at the University of Leeds, but left her degree course within a month and took the remainder of her academic year off before transferring to the University of Glasgow to study a degree in History of Art. After deciding that law was not suitable for her, she took a placement with the Alice Temperley fashion house,[6] and was a part of the 2008 presidential primary in support of Barack Obama in New Hampshire and was referred to her as a member of "the Scottish contingent" of his team, and provided her with a written reference for her work. When she returned to Scotland after which she joined the Glasgow auction house McTear's as an auctioneer and latterly as the Head of Pictures which primarily dealt with Scottish contemporary art. Following her wedding she has now shared her auctioneering and valuation event tasks at McTear's along with her work on TV. She has started a new company that auctions paintings directly from the studios from which they were created in 2021
