Lucy Verasamy

 Lucy Verasamy, born 2 August 1980 is a British weather analyst for ITV Weather, ITV Racing as well as ITV's Good Morning Britain. She went to Silfield Primary School, Framlingham College Junior School, Suffolk and King Edward VII School, King's Lynn. There she also studied A-level geography. In 2001, she graduated from Brunel University with the degree of BSc. (Hons.) in geography. After graduation, Verasamy trained and worked as a meteorologist at the Press Association's weather centre (Later changed to Meteogroup Europe's largest private weather company) which included writing forecasts for international and national weather for TV, radio as well as Newspapers.Having previously completed a internship in the Sky Weather Centre before becoming a weather forecaster Verasamy became a part of Sky and became a regular weather presenter on the Sky News breakfast show Sunrise. In 2007 Sky News launched a feature on climate change. Sky News website started a feature called Climate Clinic - Ask Lucy as part of their Green Britain campaign. Verasamy answered questions put forward by members of the public on climate change. The journalist also contributed to the Sky News The Weather Girls blog.
