Sophie Turner is a British actress who made her acting debut on Game of Thrones, the immensely successful HBO fantasy TV series which is based on A Song of Ice and Fire which is a collection of fantasy novels written by George R. R. Martin. Sophie was the main character in the role of Sansa Stark in the very first season of Game of Thrones. The actress was nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Award in Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble of Drama Series. A Young Artist Award nomination was made for Best Supporting Young Actress in a TV Series. The gorgeous and talented actress was also in The Thirteenth Tale (2013) which was a British drama television film. It was an adaptation of Diane Setterfield's novel. Another Me (2013), the British-Spanish feature film that was also a film starring Sophie Turner. Barely Lethal (2015) was a 2015 American action comedy film produced by Kyle Newman, was also featuring Sophie. X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) is a superhero film inspired by Marvel Comics' X-Men characters, was also filmed. Sophie Turner has also contributed her voice to audiobook stories and hosted a mini-documentary series about the effects of social media on people across the globe.
