British actress Sophie Turner made her professional acting debut on Game of Thrones. The fantasy show is based upon George R. R. Martin's novel of fantasy A Song of Ice and Fire. Sophie was the lead character in the role of Sansa Stark in the first season of Game of Thrones. The actress was also nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Award in Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. A Young Artist Award nomination for best supporting young actress in TV Series was also made. The stunningly talented and beautiful star has also acted in the 2013 British drama TV film The Thirteenth Tale, an eponymous adaptation of Diane Setterfield's gothic novel released in 2006. Another Me (2013), a British-Spanish psychological thriller thriller feature film, was also starring Sophie Turner. Barely Lethal (2015), a 2015 American action-comedy film, directed by Kyle Newman, was also starring as Sophie. X-Men: Apocalypse (2016), a superhero film inspired by Marvel Comics' X-Men characters, was also filmed. Sophie Turner has also lent her voice to several audiobooks and also hosted a mini-documentary series examining the impact of social media in the lives of people across the globe.
