Darryl Richards II is known as Lil Scrappy, who was born January 20, 1984. The producer who discovered him was Lil Jon while performing at a school concert in his hometown of Atlanta. Along with Labelmates Trillville, Lil Scrappy was one of the first artists signed to Lil Jon's BME Recordings.Lil Scrappy gained a solid reputation and eager following throughout the southeast with mixtapes as well as the street anthem of 2003 "Head Bussa." During this time, Lil Jon inked a agreement to bring his BME Recordings to Warner Bros. Records as part of a joint venture. The album, featuring Lil Jon's signature production "Head Bussa" was a huge hit in the radio world and climbed to #73 on the Billboard r&b and hip hop chart.to the present, "No Problem," was ranked in the top 30 of the Billboard 100 andwas top 10 on the R&B and the rap charts. The success of "No Problem" as well as Trillville's smash songs "Some Cut"and "Neva Eva" helped the album to reach 3rd on the Billboard r&b charts, and ranked #12 on the Billboard 200 in 2004.
