Kristen Anne Bell was born in the year 1980. She is an American singer, actress and musician. Her birthplace and childhood was in Huntington Woods, Michigan, and is the daughter of Lorelei (Frygier), a nurse and Tom Bell, a television news director. Her parents are Polish (mother) as in addition to German, English and Irish (father). Kristen discovered her passion for entertainment as a young age. In 1992, she went to her first audition and won a role in Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell was 13 when her mother introduced her to an agent. She was soon cast in TV advertisements and newspaper ads. In the same year she also began taking private acting lessons. Bell was credited as a character in the film Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998.Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School, where she took part in drama and music club. She won the starring part of Dorothy in her high school's production of The Wizard of Oz. Bell completed her high school and then moved to New York City in order to study musical theater at the Tisch School of the Arts.
