Jeanette Helen Morrison was an American actress, singer writer, author and dancer. Her role in the film thriller 'Psycho,' she was honored with the famous Golden Globe award. She also got an Academy Award nomination for her role in the movie. She was also the mother of Kelly Cutis as well as Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh was assisted by actress Norma Shearer to get her first break. After making her acting debut on radio in 1946 she was offered a contract with MGM in 1947. She was an acclaimed actor in several blockbuster films like Little Women, Angels in the Outfield and Scaramouche. After numerous headlines her union with Jamie Lee Curtis ended in divorce in 1962.
