Giada Pamela De Laurentiis is an Italian-born American chef, TV personality as well as a writer. She is known as the host of the TV show "Giada at home" which airs on Food Network. She has been nominated for two Emmy Awards. She she also won an Gracie Award. Laurentiis was raised in Rome. As a child she relocated to the USA. In Los Angeles, she started working as chef. In the later years, while working as a food stylist she was contacted by the Food Network after she styled an article in the 'Food and Wine the magazine. It was then that she launched her daytime cooking show 'Everything Italian and won an Emmy Award for 'Outstanding Lifestyle Host'. She is currently the host of the television show'Giada at Home'. Laurentiis has written a number of books, too. "Giada at Home" and 'Weeknights' were the first spot on the New York Times Best Seller List. In 2012 she was inducted into Culinary Hall of Fame.
