He began his professional boxing career as a light heavyweight fighter. After that, he was promoted to 'cruiserweight' before then to the "heavyweight" category. His professional career in boxing began with a string victories that helped him become the undisputed, undefeated champion of the world heavyweight category. Contrary to his boxing achievements, his personal life was full of bumps and valleys. Due to his spending habits and multiple failed businesses He was financially burdened despite being a boxer who was successful.
