Chris Evans

American actor producer and director Christopher Robert Evans. Evans began his acting career in typical fashion: performing in school productions and in community theatre. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of Lisa (Capuano), who worked in the Concord Youth Theatre, and G. Robert Evans III is dentist. His uncle is the former U.S. Representative Mike Capuano. Chris's father is of half German and half Welsh/English/Scottish ancestry, while Chris's mother is of half Italian and half Irish descent. He has a younger sibling, Carly Evans. There are also two younger siblings, Scott Evans (an actor) and Shana Evans (a sister). When he was eleven years old, his family moved to suburban Sudbury. Infatuated by acting during the first year of school, because his older sister, Carly, started acting, Evans followed suit and started appearing in school plays. While at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, his drama teacher mentioned his performance in the play "Leontes" in "The Winter's Tale" as exemplary of his talent. He continued his theatre studies and was soon able relocate to New York City, where he attended the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute.
