Emily Procter

 Emily Mallory Procter is an American actor in television and film. She graduated with the degree of journalism and later was a forecaster for weather within the entertainment industry. Supported by her father, she attended acting classes and began appearing in small but important roles in popular TV shows like "Friends" and "Lois & Clark'. She made her big screen debut in in the Academy Award-winning film 'Leaving Las Vegas' and, the following year, worked with Tom Cruise, Cuba Gooding Jr. and Renee Zellweger in 'Jerry Maguire'. She played four supporting roles in four films in 1999, which was an extremely busy year for the talented actor. She played a character who recurred in the TV series 'The Western Wing' from 2000 to 2002 and briefly in 2006 before getting her breakthrough role as Calleigh Duquesne in the drama about police officers "CSI: Miami". During its ten-season run the show became an enormous success, and made Procter an international star.
