Bill Murray

 American comedian and actor Bill Murray. He is the fifth child of nine. He was born to Lucille Murray (a mailroom clerk) and Edward Joseph Murray II (a lumber merchant). Murray is of Irish descent. His siblings include actors Joel Murray, Brian Doyle-Murray and John Murray. His tuition to Loyola Academy was paid by his caddies. He worked alongside the majority of his siblings as caddies. He was a sports player and also did some acting in the school however, in his own words, mostly "screwed off." After being arrested for possession of marijuana He began his studies in Regis College Denver to study premed. With Gilda Radner and John Belushi, he joined the National Lampoon Radio Hour. He was a part of Saturday Night Live with Howard Cosell (1975) in the year in which he was born. After the show's failure, he was then offered to join Saturday Night Live (1975), for which he earned his first Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing in a Comedy-Variety or Music Series. Later, he was a part of comedy films such as Meatballs (1979), Caddyshack (80), Stripes(82), Tootsie (1982), Ghostbusters (84), Ghostbusters II (289), Scrooged (1988), and What About Bob? (1991), and Groundhog Day (1993)
