Adrienne Jo Barbeau is an American actor and writer best known for her roles in the sitcom Maude (1972) as well as in horror movies, specifically ones directed by John Carpenter, with whom she was married in the past. Born on the 11th of June 1945, in Sacramento (California) She is the daughter of an Mobil Oil Company executive. At the beginning of her career, she appeared in the films Someone's Watching Me! (1978), The Fog (1980) and Escape from New York (1981) All John Carpenter-related projects. In the past, she's collaborated with George A. Romero.
