Adrienne Barbeau

 Adrienne Jo Barbeau is an American actor and writer best known for her roles in the sitcom Maude (1972) as well as in horror movies, specifically ones directed by John Carpenter, with whom she was married in the past. Born on the 11th of June 1945, in Sacramento (California) She is the daughter of an Mobil Oil Company executive. At the beginning of her career, she appeared in the films Someone's Watching Me! (1978), The Fog (1980) and Escape from New York (1981) All John Carpenter-related projects. In the past, she's collaborated with George A. Romero. This includes the Stephen King anthology Creepshow (1982) and Two Evil Eyes (90). Her collaborations alongside other directors of horror includes Wes Craven's superhero monster movie Swamp Thing (1982). During the 1990s she gained notoriety for her voice as Catwoman on Batman: The Animated Series (1992). In the Broadway production of "Grease" she played Betty Rizzo, the tough-girl Betty Rizzo. She is the author of the memoir "There Are Worse Things I Can Do" (2006), and the comedy romance vampire novels "Vampyres of Hollywood" (2008), "Love Bites" (2010) and "Make Me Dead" (2015).
