Frances Rose McIver, a New Zealand actress, was born on October 10, 1988. She was the lead actress as Olivia "Liv" Moore on The CW supernatural comedy-drama series iZombie (2015-2019) and played Summer Landsdown, the Yellow Ranger in Power Rangers RPM (2009). McIver also played the role of Amber Moore in the romantic comedy A Christmas Prince (2017), the sequels The Royal Wedding (2018) and The Royal Baby (2019). McIver started her career in New Zealand with guest appearances in shows like Xena, Warrior Princess, Legend of the Seeker, and Hercules The Legendary Journeys. Her roles included recurring roles in the Showtime period drama Masters of Sex (2013-14) as well as the ABC fantasy adventure drama Once Upon a Time (2013)-2017. McIver is a part of Ghosts which is which is a CBS supernatural sitcom (2021-prese). McIver made her debut as a feature film in The Piano (1993). She has since appeared in the drama The Lovely Bones (2009) The Lovely Bones (2009), the comedy horror Predicament (2010) The sports drama Blinder (2013) as well as the romantic drama Petals on the Wind (2014) and the musical drama DaffodilsMcIver was born in Auckland and was raised in Titirangi by her father, John George Whitfield "Mac" McIver (b. 1951) as a photographer, as well as Ann "Annie" the actress's mother (nee Coney), an art teacher. The house in which she was born is still home to her parents. She has an older brother named Paul McIver, who is a musician and former actor. She was a jazz and ballet until the age of thirteen.McIver was a student at Avondale College and was a prefect in her final year. She graduated in 2006.She went to the University of Auckland, and majored in Psychology and Linguistics, but did not complete her degree. Between acting roles she also worked as a babysitter , and also worked part-time in the import of bananas using Fair Trade. As a voice of conscience, she was a part of the "All Good Bananas" campaign.
