Rachel Brosnahan

 Rachel Elizabeth Brosnahan was born July 12 in 1990. She plays the role of Miriam "Midge" Maisel who is a comedian aspiring to be, in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel the Amazon Prime Video period comedy series (2017-2018), where she was nominated for an Primetime Emmy Award and two consecutive Golden Globe Awards as Best Actress in a Television Series or Musical or Comedy in 2018, and 2019. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Carol and Earl Brosnahan who were involved in publishing for children, Brosnahan is now an actress from America. Her mother is British, and her father is American and Irish. Brosnahan was born in Highland Park, Illinois at the age of four. She has a younger brother, and a sister. She is the niece of fashion designer Kate Spade (nee Brosnahan).Though she is well known for playing a Jewish character on TV (Mrs. Maisel in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Brosnahan herself is not from Jewish descent. She claims that she was "happily being immersed" in Jewish traditions because of the community in Highland Park, Illinois
