Laura Marano

 Laura Marie Marano, born November 29, 1995, is an American actor and singer. Her role as Ally Dawson in the Disney Channel show Austin & Ally is her most famous. Marano was one the original five classmates on Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader! Marano appeared in Without a Trace three times and Back to You twice. Marano was the main character in A Sort of Homecoming, an original Disney Channel Original Movie Bad Hair Day, as well as the Netflix original film The Perfect Date. In 2015, Marano signed with Big Machine Records. She released her debut single, "Boombox", on March 11, 2016, and the following day, "La La" in the final months of 2016. On October 5, 2018, Laura Marano released the single "Me" as an independent artist.Marano was born in Los Angeles, California. Damiano Marano is her younger brother and Ellen Marano is her former actress. Her father is Italian. Marano first became interested in acting through her mother's theatre. At the age of five, Marano began expressing interest in professional acting to her parents, along with her older sister Vanessa who was also an actress.Marano began learning to play the piano, at age nine.
