 Christina Ochoa was born Cristina Ochoa Lopez on January 25, 1985 in Barcelona. She is a Spanish actress and science communicator. She was surrounded by members of both artistic and scientific worldsOchoa began performing as a pastime, beginning with theatrical productions in Washington, D.C., at the Little Theatre of Alexandria. She later determined to pursue a profession in the performing arts and moved to Madrid to pursue studies and work in the field. She has said: "Science was all my life. .... But when I got on stage for the first time I felt like there was a gap in me that was suddenly full ... one that I didn't realize was empty".From there, Ochoa moved on to work in the theatre and on TV as well, appearing on I Hate My Teenage Daughter Modern Family, Modern Family and Spain's La Que Se avecina as well as in filmslike Cats Dancing on Jupiter.She is the creator and the owner of QE (Quantum Entanglement) Productions, responsible for the 2011 short film Stay with Me that was awarded at film festivals both internationally and in the United States.In 2014, Ochoa played Karen Morales in the Robert Rodriguez show, Matador.She has been playing Renn on the TNT drama Animal Kingdom since 2016.
