Amber Benson

 Amber Benson was born January 8th in 1977. She is an American singer and actress. She is best known for her character Tara Maclay on the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1999-2002) she has also been the director, producer and star in her own film Chance (2002) and Lovers, Liars & Lunatics (2006). She also appeared in Kiss the Bride (2007). Alongside fellow Buffy actor Adam Busch, she co-directed Drones (2010). Benson was also a waitress in the horror film The Killing Jar (2010).Benson was born on January 8, 1977, in Birmingham, Alabama, the daughter of Diane and Edward Benson, a psychiatrist.She has one younger sister, Danielle who is an artist. Her father is Jewish and her mother was raised Southern Baptist;Benson grew up attending the Reform synagogue in Alabama.Benson was 14 when she made her feature film debut in Steven Soderbergh's film King of the Hill.Benson is well-known for her role as Tara Maclay on the television show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Her first appearance was in the season 4 episode "Hush" She then became Willow Rosenberg's lover (Alyson Hannigan). Benson was a part of the show until season 6, at which point her character was cut off. Benson was the final regular cast member to be credited in the final episode.
