Allison Stokke

Allison Rebecca Stokke Fowler (born on March 22, 1989) is an American track and field athlete and fitness model. She has set several American high school records for pole vaulting. Images of Stokke as a teenager were shared widely on the Internet. She also competed for the California Golden Bears collegiate track and field team. She participated in two NCAA Division I Championships, getting All-American distinction during the 2011 NCAA Indoor Championships, and received all-academic awards at the regional level by virtue of her athletic and academic performances. She tried to make the American Olympic team at the 2012 United States Olympic Trials but did not record a tallness. She vaulted at national events until the year 2017. Following college Stokke went on to become a professional vaulter as well as model for Nike and Athleta. Her older brother, David, was a national-level gymnast. After a few attempts at gymnastics, she embraced pole vaulting while attending Newport Harbor High School and quickly became one of the best young vaulters in the United States. She took home the age 15/16 United States title in 2004 with a record for the championship of 3.81 meters (12 feet 6 inches).
