Allison Holker

 Allison Renae Holker (born February 6 1988) is an American choreographer, dancer, and actress. Holker has been a choreographer, dancer, and actress on film, television and concert tours. Her most well-known appearances are on the dance show So You Think You Can Dance in which she was a contestant in season 2 as well as an All-Star in seasons 7-11 and 14.Holker was born in Anoka County, Minnesota and grew up in Orem, Utah, and graduated from Timpanogos High School in June 2006. At the age of nine, she began dance training when she was accepted as a member of The Dance Club of Orem. She began to study ballet, jazz, tap and contemporary while in Orem. She performed in the closing and opening ceremonies at the 2002 Winter Olympics. She took home several awards for her dancing, including the first national competition held in Co DANCE (2004) as well as the National Senior Outstanding Dancer award at the New York City Dance Alliance 2005. Holker also performed with Earth, Wind and Fire during the Olympic Games' opening and closing ceremonies in 2002. On TV, she's been featured in numerous commercials and advanced to the Top 8 in the second season of So You Think You Can Dance, and danced in the season's SYTYCD all-over the country tour. Louis Van Amstel choreographed the show Ballroom with a Twist.
