Alison Sudol (born December 23, 1984)is an American actress and singer. Her most well-known role is A Fine Frenzy singer and Queenie Goldstein, in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016). Her music has been used in a myriad of TV series and movies.Sudol was born in Seattle, Washington to dramatic arts teacher Sondra (Fraser) West-Moore and acting coach John Sudol. Both parents and she moved to Los Angeles after their divorce when she was just five. She grew up listening to various genres of music that included Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald and other swing musicians. She cites Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash and Simon and Garfunkel as some of her most influential music influences.She graduated from high school at 16. She described herself as "nerdy and calm", and did not "drink or smoke or do anything like this". She was interviewed by an interviewer and said "I was so scared about going into college like that and super young. I thought I'd go for two years and try to find out what I was doing in the world of music. And by the time I was 18, I was just so deep into it that I couldn't stop."
