 Alessandra Corine Ambrosio(Brazilian Portuguese: [ale'sadra a'brozju born 11 April 1981) is a Brazilian model. She is known for her work with Victoria's Secret and was chosen as the first spokesmodel to represent the brand's PINK line. She was the Victoria's Secret Angel from 2004 to 2017. She has also modeled for fashion houses such as Christian Dior, Armani, Ralph Lauren, and Next.Ambrosio was ranked as number five on Forbes' list of the top models, estimated to have earned $6.6 million every year. [She is often cited by the mainstream media as being one of the most sexiest women. In the role of an "Angel" she was named one of People's annual "100 Most Beautiful People in the World" in May 2007. Ambrosio is a fashion icon. Alessandra Corine Ambrosio was the daughter of Lucilda Ambrosio and Luiz Ambrosio. Aline is her younger sister. The girl is of Italian and Polish descent.Her maternal grandmother, Joana Eugenia Groch, was an Immigrant from Poland and arrived in Brazil as a young person in 1929. She died in 2017 at the age of 93.She was a student in an modeling class at the age of 12 and at the age of 14, she was one of 20 finalist in the 1995 Elite Model Look national competition for Brazil. Ambrosio was always worried about her ears that were large, and when she was 11, she had cosmetic surgery to fix her ears back, though two years later she suffered complications.
