Raquel Roxanne Diaz or just Rocsi is a model and television persona from Honduras. She is best known for her role as co-host on the BET program 106 & Park between 2006 and 2012. She was a correspondent on Entertainment Tonight during 2012-2014, when she was called "Rocsi Diaz".Diaz was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras but moved with her family to New Orleans, Louisiana. She is of Honduran and Chilean descent. Rocsi announced on 106 & Park on July 30, 2009 she was suffering from anorexia during her years in middle school and high school due to her love for cheerleading. She attended West Jefferson High School in Harvey, Louisiana. Nicholls State University was her graduation. Her first job was in Dallas as a host at 97.9 The Beat which is the city's most prestigious urban radio station. In Dallas, Rocsi cultivated a unique street-smart style that attracted the interest of Boston's Hot 97.7, where she was later promoted to DJ. In 2004, she relocated to Chicago where she was hired as a midday DJ at Radio station Power 92 WPWX and was dubbed "The Midday Mami".
