Nicole Houston Reed (born May 17 1988) is an American actress known for her performance as the vampire Rosalie Hale in The Twilight Saga (2008-2012). Following the 2003 release of Thirteen, directed and written by Catherine Hardwicke, she became well-known. She also had a leading role in the movie. The film earned Reed an Independent Spirit Award for Best Debut Performance, as well as several nominations.Nicole Houston Reed was born in West Los Angeles, California she was the daughter of Cheryl Houston, a beautician, and to Seth Reed, a production designer. Her older brother, Nathan August Reed, and the younger half-brother Joey Reed. Her mother is a Christian with a part Italian heritage, while her father is Jewish. She was raised in a secular family but is now a Jewish. The brother of her, who was a Bar Mitzvah-ee had one.
