Maren Morris

Maren Larae Morris (11) (born April 10, 1990[2Maren Larae Morris[1] (born April 10, 1990[2) is an American artist and singer. Although her roots are in the genre of country, her music also blends elements of pop, R&B, and hip-hop. Born and raised in Arlington, Texas, Morris loved singing as a young teenager. Morris began performing in public during her teens, and has performed across Texas. She released three studio albums with independent record labels during her teens and into her twenties. She relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, to pursue a career in country music in the same time frame. After the streaming success of her self-titled EP in the year 2015, Morris signed a publishing and then a recording agreement. Her fourth album Hero (2016) was published by Columbia Nashville. It combines both country and R&B. The album's lead track, "My Church", was her biggest success on country radio. The album was followed by "80s Mercedes", the "I Could Have a Love Song" single, and "Rich". In 2018, Morris worked with Grey and Zedd for the track "The middle". It was released as a single, the song quickly became a top ten music success in various countries. In 2019, she followed it with her fifth album called Girl. The album mixed country with different styles of music and included collaborations with a variety of artists. It was also the source of "Girl" and "The Bones" that were both number one songs. Morris dropped her sixth studio album on the 25th of March, 2022. It was called Humble Quest. She has also recorded solo as well as together with Ryan Hurd, her husband.
