Joelle Carter

 Joelle Marie Carter (born October 10, 1972) is an American actress. Her role as Ava Crowder on the FX series Justified is one of her most well-known roles. Carter was born in Thomasville in Georgia. Jimmy was her father, and they moved throughout the United States frequently. She went to the high school of Albany, Georgia, and she enrolled in Augusta State University on a full athletic scholarship to swim and cross-country. She was a student at the William Esper Studio.She has been featured in a variety of films including the opening scene in American Pie 2. Her extensive resume of acting on television includes parts on TV and in films like Inconceivable and High Fidelity. From 2010 to 2015 she played Ava Crowder in the television series Justified on FX. In a review of the pilot episode for The A.V. The A.V. Club's pilot episode. The A.V. Club, Scott Tobias described her as "absurdly sexy". She also appeared in Kevin Greutert's 2014 horror thriller Jessabelle.
