Ina Drew

 Ina R. Drew was a former high-ranking executive on Wall Street. After JPMorgan Chase suffered a $9 billion loss on trading in April and May 2012, she was promoted to chief investment officer. She resigned after it became clear that she was unable to comprehend the strategy, and she was unable to explain it to the Subcommittee. She also lied to subcommittee in that she didn't have or read the "decision tables" that laid out the options for trading available to her prior to January 2012. Drew was considered by certain market participants as one of the most skilled people in the management of risks to balance sheets. In each of her last two years, she was paid more than $15million. "Her annual compensation reported for 2011 was $14 million. Crain's New York Business named her one of the "40 under 40" in 1993. She has been CIO for JP Morgan Chase & Co. since 2002. "Prior to that, she was the Head of Global Treasury [at JPM]".She earned a master's degree in international economics at the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University. Drew and her husband have been residents of the Short Hills neighborhood of Millburn, New JerseyThey have one daughter and one son. Ina Drew is currently an administrator of Barnard College. In the year 2018 Ina Drew along with her husband, donated one million dollars to Barnard and Columbia to endow two scholarships.
