Charlotte Church

 Charlotte Maria Church, born Charlotte Maria Reed 21 February 1986 She is a Welsh musician, singer and actress, as well as a TV host and an activist in the political arena. She became famous during her early years as a classical singing singer before making the transition to pop music in 2005. She sold more than 10 million albums around the globe in 2007, with 5 million sold in the United States. She was valued at PS11M in 2010according to a 2003 report. She hosted the Channel 4 chat program called The Charlotte Church Show. Church has released her debut album for five years, titled Back to Scratch, on 25 October, 2010. Church is a soprano. In recent times, Church became involved in political activism, such as her support for Labour in the UK and Plaid Cymru during the Senedd elections in Wales. Church is also a staunch proponent of Welsh independence. Church was born Charlotte Maria Reed in Llandaff (a district of Cardiff), Wales to Maria (nee Cooper), and Stephen Reed, an engineer. The couple separated when she was two, and she was then raised by her mother who brought her up as a Roman Catholic. Maria got married to James Church in 1992. She adopted Charlotte in 1999.
