Alex Chambers

 Alex Chambers, an Australian mixed martial artist, was born on 28 October 1978. Chambers competes in the Strawweight Division. She is an experienced mixed martial artist who has fought in Invicta FC and the Ultimate Fighting Championship since the year 2010. She was a 3rddan in karate by the time she was at university, and she was competing internationally.citation required]Chambers discovered her first (and still current) MMA club through the MMA Underground Forums. With the guidance of her gym she was able to achieve the status of an BJJ national champion. She began her professional MMA debut in the month of May in 2010 for the Rize promotion in Australia. It was the first female MMA bout to ever occur in New South Wales state history. She took home both her first and second bout, which occurred two months later.
