Alba Galindo (born February 26, 1981) is an American Colombian model, host of a television show and sportscaster, who is currently employed by ESPN Deportes. Galindo is best known for her part as an Senadora on the Univision weekly sports show Republica Deportiva. She was born in Miami and moved to Cali, Colombia shortly thereafter. At the age of 17, she began her career as a model. Galindo worked as models for various businesses such as Marlboro and Buchanan's. After three years she returned to her native Miami to further her career in the industry. Following her relocation, she was given numerous opportunities to be featured in swimsuit and sportswear catalogues. In 2004, Galindo won Univision's Miss Republica Deportiva contest. The following year, she participated in the Yo Quiero Ser Senadora contest to get a place on the popular TV show Republica Deportiva. The show was ultimately chosen, and she was signed to the network. She was a part of a powerful pair with Natalia Saenz, a Miami-born Colombian model, from 2006 to 2015. 14 April 2015 was the day that Galindo joined ESPN Deportes. She hosted the show "Redes ESPN" and still participate as talent in NFL as well as NBA games for USA and Latin America.
