Aisha Hinds

 Aisha Jamila Hinds is an American stage, television, and film actress. Numerous television shows featured her, including Invasion, True Blood and Detroit 1-8-7-7 as well as other supporting roles. She was in Fannie Lou Hamer in a biographical drama film called All the Way in 2016. Hinds also appeared in Assault on Precinct 13 (2005) and was cast in the role of Harriet Tubman in WGN America period drama Underground. Beginning in 2018, Hinds stars in the Fox procedural drama serieHinds was born in New York, New YorkShe started her television career in 2003 on NYPD Blue. In 2004, she played the role of a regular on The Shield as Annie Price, and later guest-starred in Crossing Jordan, Boston Legal, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Stargate SG-1, Cold Case, and Desperate Housewives.Hinds was a regular on the brief-lived ABC series Invasion from 2005 until the year 2006 and in Detroit 1-8-7 (2010-2011). Dollhouse, HawthoRNe, and True Blood were her recurring roles. Hinds was also seen in Mr. Brooks and Madea Goes to Jail. She also appeared in Star Trek Into Darkness. She played the lead character in The Best of Enemies in George Street Playhouse's 2011 production.
