Agnieszka Roma Radwanska (Polish: [ag'neska Ra'dvajskaAgnieszka Roma Radwanska (Polish: [ag'neska (listen) born on 6 March 1989) is a Polish former professional tennis player. She was a former professional tennis player who won 20 WTA Tour singles titles and two doubles titles. Her career-high singles ranking at the world's No. 1 level is a record. 2. 2 on 9 July 2012. She was the first Polish player in the Open Era to reach a major singles final (at the 2012 Wimbledon Championships), the first player to take home the WTA Finals (in 2015) as well as the first to earn a WTA Tour singles title (the 2007 Nordic Light Open), and was part of the first Polish team to take home the Hopman Cup in 2015. She was also awarded the WTA Award for the Most Amazing newcomer (2006) and placed within the top 10 in the all-time-end ranking eight times, with six consecutive times from 2011 until 2016. Radwanska is widely considered one of the best tennis players who have not had a major win; her achievements with Polish players have recently been eclipsed by the achievements of Iga Swiatek.
