Adriana Sofia Ugarte Pardal, born 17 January 1985, is a Spanish actress. Her most prominent roles on the television show La Senora (El tiempo inter costuras) are famous. Ugarte was the star in the 2016 Pedro Almodovar film Julieta.Adriana Sofia Ugarte Pardal was born in Madrid on 17 January 1985, daughter of Yolanda Pardal, a lawyer, as well as a writer.She is the grandniece of Eduardo Ugarte, who was an associate of Luis Bunuel and who was married to a daughter of Carlos Arniches. She attended Colegio del Pilar, Madrid. She was enrolled in a licentiate in philosophy and arts at Complutense University of Madrid. After a short hiatus her return to UNED. Ugarte won the Alcala de Henares Festival of Films Award for Best Female Performance for her performance of a teenage schizophrenic girl. She appeared as a guest in TV shows like Policias in el corazon de la calle, Hospital Central and El comisario.She was nominated to the Goya Award for Best New Actress for her role in the role of Consuelo in the 2006 film Doghead produced by Santi Amodeo.
