 You might have seen me swirl wine, lick jewels, or twist lipstick...and perhaps, push several buttons. Hello I'm a hand model. Technically speaking, I'm a parts model because my body part is regularly included in ads. My primary income source is my hands. They've been part of many campaigns from Dior to Dominos. Sometimes, my hands double as celebritieslike Katy Perry, Penelope Cruz, Natalie Portman, and more.I did not plan on a career in parts. As a child I didn't look at a star with a longing to whisper "One day my hands will be everywhere on the world." I was raised on an (manic) organic commune in California and always dreamed of returning to 'normality' in New Orleans, with my large Italian food-business family.I've often been told that I had good hands (mainly by my grandmother) however it wasn't until I made a casual casting using OPI nail polish that I got my first hand job.I reside primarily in Malibu California, and work mostly in New York City.When I first came to Hollywood, I had dreams of becoming someone else. (I didn't realize I'd be the body of someone else. I love what my job is, but try to do more for society than just nail beds. This is why I write a funny but heartfelt blog that is called HAND Jobs: Stories of a Hand Model.After many years of dedicated work, I launched a skincare company and my beloved lotion baby, Essentiel by Adele was born! The concept was born in the kitchen.
